Meditation 1 is a wordless meditative piece, consisting of increasingly textured repetitions of a theme reminiscent of Gregorian chant.
Here is a recording of the JUUL Tones of First UU Church of San Diego singing the piece, which is dedicated to them. The recording conditions were not the best, but you should at least get an idea of what the piece sounds like.
