My sister Pat Howe, after 20 years of making sparkling wines
for big labels, has started her own tiny winemaking
business in a shed. (“One of the smallest
freestanding bonded wineries in the United States,”
she writes.) Her web page is
here,
and her blog
here.
- Musicians and musical groups.
-
Jonatha Brooke's homepage.
I only know about Jonatha Brooke because of Radio Free Tiny
Pineapple (see below).
- The
official homepage of
the Penguin Café Orchestra, and an
unofficial
site.
-
Laurie
Anderson's home page.

EnoWeb,

than you could ever have imagined possible.
-
Jane Siberry's home page.
-
The home page of The Bobs,
a group famous for "new-wave a capella". Several of their
last albums have been disappointing, but their latest
("Coaster") has some very good work.
-
G-Spot Records
is the record company of
Gunnar Madsen, one of the founding members of The Bobs
and the author and/or co-author of most of their best
songs. Gunnar left The Bobs quite a few
years ago.
He has made some some good CDs, including two childrens CDs
("Old Mr. Mackle Hackle" and "Ants in my Pants")
which the adults in the house will enjoy as much as the children.
-
Radio Free Tiny Pineapple
is an internet radio station that seems to play good music.
Unfortunately, you can't listen to it any more, thanks to the RIAA.
But it's fun to look around the Tiny Pineapple site.
- Public radio.
- Miscellaneous sites to divert yourself with.
- The answer to the question
‘What is ehiyr poty?’
- A description of the problems (now fixed) with “Let's Do Lunch”, the most recent
puzzler from Coudal Partners.
